Purpose of the Role
The primary purpose of this role is to assist with general maintenance and repair tasks across Capitec facilities. The successful candidate will also provide support as a relief driver or messenger and assist with admission control duties when required.
Key Responsibilities
The Handyman will be responsible for:

Performing general building maintenance and minor repair work

Assisting with construction-related and handyman tasks

Supporting relief driving and messenger duties

Assisting with admission control responsibilities

Ensuring work is carried out in line with safety standards and quality requirements
Experience Requirements
Minimum Experience
-
At least 2 years’ experience in general construction or the handyman trade
Ideal Experience
-
Basic knowledge of electrical work
-
Basic knowledge of plumbing
-
Experience handling and operating power tools
-
Basic understanding of the Health and Safety Act
Qualifications
Minimum Qualification

Grade 10 National Certificate
Preferred Qualification
-
Relevant technical or maintenance-related exposure will be advantageous
