Learnership Overview
The P1 and P2 Chemical Engineering Learnership offers one year of structured workplace training in line with university requirements for the National Diploma in Chemical Engineering (NQF Level 6).
This work integrated learning programme provides practical exposure to chemical engineering processes, operations, and workplace safety, preparing learners to meet their qualification requirements and build a foundation for a career in the mining and refining sector.
Minimum Requirements
Applicants must meet the following criteria:
Completion of all theoretical modules of a National Diploma in Chemical Engineering
Solid understanding of chemical engineering concepts
Medically fit for work at BMR and/or PMR

Key Responsibilities
Perform practical assignments under the guidance of a mentor or coach
Undertake training tasks in line with university and institutional requirements
Gain exposure to refining processes, chemical engineering practices, and operational safety procedures
