These positions offer a 24-month structured training programme designed to provide practical workplace experience, professional mentorship, and career development in various disciplines.   1. Young Professional-in-Training – Internal Audit

Location: Johannesburg

Purpose of the Role:
Join Transnet’s accredited programme with the Institute of Internal Auditors South Africa (IIASA) and gain hands-on experience in Internal Audit. This role is ideal for graduates passionate about auditing, governance, and risk management.

Key Responsibilities:

Shadow senior internal auditors across multiple business units
Assist with audit assignments, control testing, and documentation
Participate in meetings, workshops, and training sessions
Support investigations and prepare reports for management
Monitor submission of Internal Audit reports to governance forums

Minimum Requirements:

National Diploma or BCom in Internal Auditing or Accounting
0–1 year of relevant work experience
Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
South African citizenship
Age between 18–35 years
