Role Purpose:
- To assist artisan with assembly and disassembly of machinery, while maintaining clean refrigeration plant room and clean workshop environment.

Required Qualifications:
- Minimum Grade 12 or N3.
- Category A Gas License (Ammonia) will be an advantage.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist artisan with assembly and disassembly of machinery.
- Independently perform routine and repetitive maintenance tasks
- Maintain a clean workshop environment.
- Lubrication and cleaning of machinery
- Maintain a clean refrigeration plant room.
- Safety inspections and reports.
- Verify plant running pressures of compressed air, High stage and low stage compressors.

Required Experience:
- Mechanically competent with experience in a mechanical field.
- Experience in the refrigeration field would be an advantage.
- 2-3 Years experience, working in a similar environment.
Required Knowledge and Skills:
- Be able to conduct adjustments on machinery as well as change component parts.
- Complete tasks timeously whilst ensuring a high level of craftmanship.
- Good literacy and numeracy skills.
- Ability to communicate in English.
- Physically fit and able to work in a cold environment.
- Constantly alert and vigilant.
- Knowledge of Ammonia Plant.
