Introduction
SPAR North Rand, a division of The SPAR Group Ltd, is recruiting for a Reconciliation Clerk.
Job description
- To Request Monthly Supplier statements
- To reconcile monthly and weekly supplier statements to creditors ledger
- Follow up and resolve outstanding queries and claims on supplier accounts
- Submitting Supplier recons on specific deadlines
- Communicating with suppliers on reconciling items
- Interacting with Data capturers on invoice queries
- Resolving outstanding claims on Gateway
- Monthly stats report
- Rotation of duties
- Filing
- Ad hoc
Minimum requirements
- Matric, Mathematics and Accounting on Higher Grade (HG)
- B Com or Accounting qualification
- High level of numeracy
- Computer literate (must be proficient in Microsoft Excel)
- Basic understanding of financial principles
- FMCG experience will be an added advantage
- Accuracy, speed, and attention to detail is essential
- Previous reconciling experience would be advantageous
- Ability to work under pressure and adhere to deadlines
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- SAP knowledge an added advantage
- Planning and organising skills
- Customer focused
- A team player with integrity
