Woodlands Dairy is inviting all suitable unemployed youth to apply for their ongoing Production Technology Learnership Programme 2022/2023.
Woodlands Dairy is offering a Dairy Learnership programme targeted at unemployed Matriculants.
Applications are invited from interested youth who meet the minimum requirements and are interested in starting a career in dairy processing.
Learners who achieve this qualification will be able to contribute and function in areas such as production processes. Systems and maintenance, quality and occupational health and safety.
Minimum Requirements:
1. Unemployed South African Youth between 18-29 years old with Matric
2. Applicants should NOT have previous work experience
Location: Humansdorp, KwaZulu-Natal

Woodlands Dairy is one of South Africa’s biggest manufacturers of UHT milk, marketed under the popular FIRST CHOICE® brand. Woodlands Dairy also produces as well as packages top of the range dairy products for many retailers in the country, such as Woolworths and SPAR.
The company is located along the Garden Route of South Africa in Humansdorp and has just over 1400 employees that help Woodlands Dairy pride themselves on their new way of thinking, constant production of new products as well as first-class customer care.
The range of products the company provides are endless, such as an array of cheese, cream, butter, amasi, flavoured milk, custard, ESL fresh milk, dairy desserts, UHT Milk, ice cream, and dessert toppings.
DETAILS ABOUT THE LEARNERSHIP PROGRAMME:
Location: Humansdorp, Eastern Cape
Duration: 18 months
Woodlands Dairy invites unemployed candidates with Matric, to apply for the Production Technology Learnership programme. Youth, between the ages of 18 and 29 years old, who are interested in pursuing a career in dairy processing, may apply.
The learnership programme will include both practical and theoretical components, for a duration of 12 months and will incorporate the following areas:
- Basic Maintenance
- Engineering Tools
- Fundamentals: Numeracy and Communications
- Housekeeping
- Operations
- Safety and Quality
After completion of the programme, learners will receive a qualification which will enable them to function and contribute in these areas: production processes, systems and maintenance, quality, occupational health and safety.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS NEEDED TO APPLY:
Before applying, please ensure that you meet ALL of the following minimum entry criteria – failure to satisfy all the requirements will result in your application being disqualified:
- Must be a South African citizen
- Must have completed Matric
- Must be between 18 and 29 years old
- Must be currently unemployed
- Must have NO previous working experience
