Job Description:
As an Engineering Assistant assist with basic maintenance and repair of equipment / machinery.
You will be responsible for:
- Changing tasks and machine settings on the shift to minimize the effect of unexpected problems
- Assist with stopping the operation if the work conditions are unsafe
- Will provide assistance to all trades (Artisans) with activities within and without the team
- Loading, dispatching material & equipment to work sites
- Ensure material & workshop machinery & equipment control
This role is in the Engineering Department at a B6 level reporting to the Section Engineer Production
Qualifications:
You will need:
- Must have a min 3 years as an Engineering Assistant
- Computer literacy
- SAP system exp – Advantageous
- A medical fitness test will be required
- Driver’s license – Advantageous
