The appointee should:
Have a Grade 12 certificate or equivalent or N2 certificate or equivalent.
Be in possession of a valid Trade Certificate (Section 13).
Have a valid driver’s license and own transportation.
Have at least 2 years’ experience as a Surface Plumber.
Exhibit excellent oral and written communication skills in English.
Be able to compile reports.
Be prepared to work extended hours on an ad hoc basis.
Be declared medically fit for the position and environment, as determined by a risk based medical examination at the relevant Sibanye Stillwater Occupational Health Centre.
Key responsibilities:
Do plumbing work-maintenance and repairs on Buildings, Hostels and Houses etc.
Account for proper discipline in the section.
Provide and maintains safe environment for all employees by ensuring full compliance to Health and Safety regulations.
Ensuring compliance to Group policies, objectives and standards.
Performing standby and overtime duties when required.
