Salary: R10000 – R13000 pm
Introduction
An established logistics company in Pretoria East will employ a Junior Warehouse Controller who is willing to work shifts on rotation (night-shift included). A Code 10/ Code 14 driver’s license beneficial. The successful candidate should ideally be based in Pretoria East, or willing to relocate. HUGE possibility for long-term growth in the Company.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Inspect and prepare all trucks/ vehicles and trailers that enter and exit the premises.
- Oversee loading and off-loading of storage items.
- Engage in quality-control of storage and yard personnel.
- Park vehicles, trucks and trailers safely once inspected, prepared and fuelled.
- Engage in daily administration and reporting.
- Perform basic security duties and continually monitor the CCTV cameras and tracking devices.
- Maintain general housekeeping of facility.
- Perform office driver duties, as and when required.
- Engage in any ad-hoc responsibilities, as and when required.
Minimum Requirements
- Grade 12/ Matric qualification (a relevant tertiary qualification or part-time student beneficial)
- No/ minimal work experience required (entry-level position).
- Driver’s license and ability to drive a truck in the yard of the depo (Code 10/ 14 highly beneficial)
- Own reliable transport.
- Proficient verbal and written Afrikaans and English communication.
- Good administration skills and great attention to detail.
- Willing to work shifts on rotation (night-shift included)
- Ideally residing in Pretoria East, or willing to relocate.
- NO job hoppers will be considered.
Package & Remuneration
R10 000 – R13 000 CTC p/m
